Somatic Yoga is an invitation to slow down, soften, and truly listen to your body.

This gentle, meditative practice focuses on reconnecting the mind and body through mindful awareness, breath, and intentional movement. Rather than pushing or striving, we allow. Allowing ourselves to feel. Allowing ourselves to release. Allowing ourselves to come home to our bodies. Through slow, mindful movements and conscious breathing, somatic yoga supports nervous system regulation, deeper body awareness, and a sense of ease that extends far beyond the mat. This practice is accessible to all bodies and experience levels. ✨ What to expect: Mindful breathing to calm the nervous system Slow, intentional movements guided by sensation A meditative pace that encourages presence and self-connection Space to explore what your body needs—without judgment 🧘‍♀️ Class Details: Tuesdays at 6:00 PM If you are not able to attend the live zoom class you will be able to work along with the recording (it will be available within 3 days of class)  You will also have access to all previous recordings! Whether you join us in the studio or from the comfort of home, this practice offers a supportive space to reconnect, reset, and gently restore. Come as you are. Leave feeling more connected, grounded, and at ease. 🌿

About the Guide

Hello, I'm Christy,  your guide on this yoga journey.  My own path as a student of yoga began in the early 2000s.  Since then I have completed many hundreds of hours of training through White Crow Yoga of Nashville, Sacred Awakening / Asmi Yoga of Oregon, Chattanooga Yoga Center, the davidji Meditation Academy, and Pranamaya, where I studied Functional and Yin Yoga under Paul Grilley. Since 2017, I have also been studying the Toltec Path with HeatherAsh Amara, author of Warrior Goddess Training, focusing on Leading with Love leadership, Warrior Heart coaching, and walking the Toltec path with awareness and integrity by living The Four Agreements. • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • I love sharing this lifestyle with anyone who feels called to better their life and reconnect with their inner wisdom. When I began my own healing journey, I faced many challenges. I remember thinking: This can’t be for me. I’m not flexible. I’m too stressed. I’m traumatized. I’m not fit enough. What I discovered changed everything: You don’t adjust your body to fit yoga—you adjust your yoga to fit your body. And you don’t force life to fit your expectations—you learn to move with the rhythm of life.
